It’s too bad I paid full price for Cabin Boy last week.
If you want the ultimate Spinal Tap experience, you need the Criterion version. Unfortunately it’s been out of print for some time, and a sealed version could run you $200 on eBay where the mint but opened versions are going for $100-$150.
I got mine for $75 a few years back and it was worth it.
$100-150?! Good Lord. For that price you could almost buy an external hard drive, ship it to Mourn, and have him crack/copy the DVD and ship it back for less.
Not that I would recommend you do anything that violates US Copyright law.
“It’s too bad I paid full price for Cabin Boy last week.”
Now that is a bad beat story.
Ouch.
There’s a reason that Donnie Darko is so cheap – the director’s cut just came out on DVD, so there are piles of the original theatrical version just lying around.
But I doubt Bring It On will be getting the same treatment anytime soon so go ahead and buy that, it’s cool.
“Would you like to buy a monkey?”
I curse you for even mentioning that horrible movie’s title. Bad movies are sometimes good, Cabin Boy isn’t one of them.
