  1. If you want the ultimate Spinal Tap experience, you need the Criterion version. Unfortunately it’s been out of print for some time, and a sealed version could run you $200 on eBay where the mint but opened versions are going for $100-$150.

    I got mine for $75 a few years back and it was worth it.

  2. $100-150?! Good Lord. For that price you could almost buy an external hard drive, ship it to Mourn, and have him crack/copy the DVD and ship it back for less.

    Not that I would recommend you do anything that violates US Copyright law.

  4. There’s a reason that Donnie Darko is so cheap – the director’s cut just came out on DVD, so there are piles of the original theatrical version just lying around.

    But I doubt Bring It On will be getting the same treatment anytime soon so go ahead and buy that, it’s cool.
